• Make sure that the 90° Bevel Stop Cam
88 is loose. The Bevel Stop Cam 88 is lo-
cated behind the front plate.
• Push the Elevation Wheel 2 until the
Blade 32 is 90° to the Table 13.
6. Tighten the Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 by
turning it clockwise.
7. Rotate the 90° Bevel Stop Cam 88 until it
touches the Bevel Stop Housing, then tight-
en the 90° Adjustment Screw 87, making
sure that the 90° Bevel Stop Cam 88 stays
in position.
8. Loosen the Bevel Indicator Adjustment
Screw 86, and adjust the Bevel Pointer 90 to
indicate 0° on the Blade Bevel Scale 4.

Adjusting 45° Positive Stop
(Fig. 52, Fig. 54, Fig. 55)
1. Turn the Elevation Wheel 2 clockwise and
raise the Blade 32 to maxi mum height.
2. Loosen the Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 by
turning it counterclockwise.
3. Push the Elevation Wheel 2 to the right as
far as possible. Then tighten the Blade Bevel
Lock Handle 3 by turning it clockwise.
4. Place a combination square on the Table 13
with one end of the square against the Blade
32, and check to see if the Blade 13 is 45°
to the table.
5. If the Blade 32 is not 45° to the Table 13:
• Loosen the Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 by
turning it counterclockwise.
• Loosen the 45° Adjustment Screw 91.
• Make sure that the 45° Bevel Stop Cam
92 is loose.

Adjustments
• Push the Elevation Wheel 2 until the
Blade 32 is 45° to the Table.
6. Tighten the Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 by
turning it clockwise.
7. Rotate the 45° Bevel Stop Cam 92 until it
touches the Bevel Stop Housing 89.
8. Tighten the 45° Adjustment Screw 91, mak-
ing sure that the 45° Bevel Stop Cam 92
stays in position.
