Problem
Excessive vibration.

Troubleshooting
Cause
Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 not
tightened.
The Blade 32 is out of balance.
The saw is not mounted secure-
ly to the stand or workbench.
The Arbor Nut 53 not tightened
properly.
The Miter Gauge 14 is not
adjusted properly.
The Blade 32 is dull.
Warped board.
The Rip Fence 9 is not parallel
to the Blade 32.
The Riving Knife 24 is out of
alignment.
The bevel stops are not ad-
justed properly.
Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 not
loosened.
Saw dust on the threads of the
Threaded Elevation Rod 113.
Undercarriage filled with saw
dust.
The Rip Fence 9 is not fully
seated on the Rails 10.

Tighten all mounting hardware.

that has accu mulated in the
undercarriage, motor, or blade
elevation gears.
Make sure that both ends of
the Rip Fence 9 are fully seated
flush against the Rails 10 before
trying to latch the Rip Fence
Lock Levers 56.
