Setting the LIFT TIG welding parameters
In the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, the electric arc glows under an inert gas (argon) shield between the welded
element and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives.
The TIG method is especially recommended for aesthetic and high-quality joining of metals, without time-consuming
mechanical processing after welding. However, it requires proper preparation and cleaning of the edges of both
welded elements. The mechanical properties of the filler material should be similar to those of the parts to be
welded. The role of the shielding gas always belongs to pure argon, supplied in amounts depending on the set
welding current.
Dual pulse duty cycle selection
The recommended range is 30% -40%.
Selecting the function of "Base feeding"
It is recommended to adjust this value in the range
of 70% -90% of the peak feed.
Selecting the welding mode
Select the TIG welding mode
