Selecting the welding mode ("Mode setting")
Select the MMA welding mode.
Welding current selection
The machine will automatically adjust the thickness
after selecting the welding current.
VRD function ("VRD function")
Press the button to activate the VRD function. Green
light means VRD is on. Press the button again to
deactivate the function. It is recommended to turn
on the VRD function during MMA welding. VRD - a
voltage reduction system; its task is to turn off the
power supply within a few milliseconds after the end
of welding. This function is also responsible for
reducing the voltage of the coated electrode to a
safe level.
Hot start current
Function that facilitates welding. When striking the
arc, the welding current is temporarily increased in
order to heat the material and the electrode at the
point of contact. It is also to properly shape the
penetration and weld face at the initial stage of
welding.
