Transporting magnetic brackets and other magnetic components
To ensure that stray magnetic fields do not affect the avionics in
aircraft, the aviation industry has put forward stringent regulations for
air transportation of magnetic material. The magnetic field strength
of such components must not exceed specified limits. To comply with
this regulation, a cover plate for all PRÜFTECHNIK magnetic compo-
nents and brackets is available. The plate lowers the magnetic field
strength significantly, keeping it well below the required limits and
therefore causing no restrictions for air transportation. The relevant
safety data sheets are available for download and reference on the
PRÜFTECHNIK website at www.pruftechnik.com.
