IPM-400
Using the IPM-400 to Read
The Read functions measure the desired signal. Multiple scales are available for some
functions. Select Read by pressing the DISPLAY/SOURCE/READ button until "READ" appears
on the display.
Using the Toggle Switch to Read Values
The IPM-400 stores the maximum and minimum values that it read since the Read function
was entered. To view these values, set the toggle switch to MAX or MIN. The value appears on
the display along with "MAX" or "MIN". The values are automatically updated and can be
viewed at any time without disturbing the other values.
Resetting MIN/MAX
Press the STORE/RESET button to reset the MIN and MAX values to the present reading.
Release the button to return the meter to normal operation. When new minimum and
maximum values are read, the values are updated in memory.
Out of Range Signals
Signals over or under those available for the currently selected range are indicated by
"– – – – –", "OVER" or "UNDER" on the display.
