3. ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT Unpacking and assembly operations should
be performed on a flat and stable surface, with enough space
for handling the machine and its packaging, using the prop-
er tools.
3.1. UNPACKING
1. Carefully open the packaging, paying attention not to
lose components
2. Consult the documentation in the box, including these
instructions.
3. Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.
4. Remove the machine from the packaging taking the
following precautions:
- move the cutting means assembly to its maximum height
(par. 4) to protect it against damage when the machine
is lifted off the base pallet;
- Move the front drive release lever to the released
position (par. 4);
- Lift the machine off the base pallet.
3.2. STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

4. CONTROLS
• Key switch (Fig. 12.A)
1. Key removed. The power circuit is disabled and the ma-
chine turns off. No function can be activated.
2. Key fully inserted. the machine is ready to be turned ON.
IMPORTANT Remove the key whenever the machine is left
unattended or not in use.
• Traction pedal (Fig. 12.F)
Forward drive gear
Parking
Reverse drive gear
IMPORTANT The drive disengages when the operator
leaves the seat.
• Drive engagement / disengagement lever (Fig. 12.H)
Drive engaged :
Transmission disengaged:
IMPORTANT The engagement/disengagement lever must
never be in the intermediate position. This condition will cause
overheating and damage the transmission.
• Cutting height adjustment lever (only for models of
type "I" and "II")
This lever (fig. 12.G) is used to raise and lower the cutting
means assembly, which may be positioned at different
cutting heights.
• Cutting height adjustment buttons (only for models
of type"III")
These buttons are used to raise (fig. 13.S)
and lower (fig. 13.T) the cutting means
assembly, which may be positioned at 7
different cutting heights.
The seven positions are graphically
indicated on the display (fig. 13.W)
• Emergency button
The emergency button (Fig. 12.B) allows the machine to be
stopped immediately in the event of an emergency.
The button has two positions:
Enabled
IMPORTANT The machine cannot be started when the
emergency button is enabled.
• Auxiliary socket for USB accessories (Fig. 12.I)
This socket (fig. 12.I) can charge USB devices.
• Warning buzzers
