FANS (26) TEST.
□ Power board (56), connector J16, terminals 1(+) - 2(-) =
connector J15, terminals 1(+) - 2(-) = +24 Vdc
approximately, fans working, with switch (40) closed.
NO Correct?

♦ Check wiring between fan (26) and connec-
tors J6, J15, J16, power board (56).
♦ Make sure that there are no mechanical im-
pediments blocking the fans (26).
♦ Replace the fan (26).
■ Check the supply voltages of the power board (56), in
particular the +24 Vdc performing, if necessary, the
DC CONTROL POWER SUPPLY TEST, of par. 3.3.1.
■ Replace power board (56) and/or fans (26).
3.3.3 Control panel doesn't show correct values.
SELF TEST.
□ Upon start-up, on control panel display (1) shows the
general information page:
− power source article number;
− power serial number;
− power source firmware version;
− firmware issue date;
− synergic curves version;
− power source options.
□ After 3 s, display (1) shows the main menu page:
− synergic curve set;
− welding current (A) and wire speed expressed in
meter for minute;
− arc voltage (V) and suggested thickness expressed
in millimetres.

□ Electrovalve (09 or 013) start working.
YES Correct?
♦ Check wiring among J14, power board (56)
and J20 panel board (47).
♦ Check supply voltages of the power (56) and
panel (47) boards, performing the tests of par.
3.3.1.
ERROR CODE TEST.
□ Upon turning the unit on, after the start-up phase, an
error condition is displayed: a code appears on the dis-
play A to identify the error type.
NO Correct?
♦ See Error codes, par. 3.4.
COMMANDS AND SIGNALS TEST.
□ After the start-up phase, with knob (2) and the touch(1)
panel, is possible to perform all of the steps involved
in selecting a "Process", "Mode" and "Programs", as
described in the Instructions Manual.
YES Correct?
♦ Check the supply voltages of power (56) and
panel (47) boards, performing, if necessary,
the tests of par. 3.3.1.
♦ Make sure that the correct program is
inserted in the panel board (47), performing,
if necessary, the "Firmware Upgrade"
procedure (see par. 2.4).
■ Check wiring between J14, power board (56) and J20
panel board (47).
■ Replace the power (56) and/or panel (47) boards.
3.3.4 Start button produces no effect.
NOTE
The start command may be given to the power source either
through the central adapters (3) or via the connector (8).
The two circuits are parallel connected inside the panel
board (47), so only one of the two signals is enough to start
the power source.
