COOLING UNIT POWER SUPPLY TEST.
□ Power board (56), terminals J-L1 - J-L3 = 220 Vac,
with power source powered.
COOLING UNIT CONNECTED TEST (see Connectors
map, par. 5.6).
□ Power board (56), connector J5, terminals 3(+) - 4(-) = 0
Vdc, cooling unit connected; +24 Vdc, approx. cooling
unit not connected or wiring interrupted.
EN
PUMP (26) TEST (see electric diagram, par. 5.4).
□ Pump (26) terminals, on cooling unit, voltage = 220
Vac, with cooling unit enabled.
□ With power source off, temporarily disconnect the
wires from pump (26) terminal board and check the
resistance between the terminals of pump (26) (pump
(26) motor winding resistance). Correct value = ap-
proximately 22 ohm.
□ Check the integrity and connection of the starting ca-
pacitor of the pump (26) (located a side of the pump
(26) motor).
FANS (2) TEST (see electric diagram, par. 5.4).
□ Fans (2) terminals, on cooling unit, voltage = 220 Vac,
with cooling unit enabled.
□ With power source off, temporarily disconnect the
wires from the fans terminal board and check the re-
sistance between the terminals of fans (2) (fans (2)
winding resistance). Correct value = approximately
750 ohm.
PRESSURE SWITCH (23) TEST (Fig. 3.3.13 and Connec-
tors map, par. 5.6).
□ Power board (56), connector J5, terminals 1(+) - 4(-)
= 0 Vdc, with pump (26) running (pressure switch
contact closed = suitable pressure); +24 Vdc, approx.
with power source on and pump (26) stopped (pressure
switch contact open = pressure low).

Error codes.
3.4.1
-02- EEprom error.
Block due to user data memory writing error.
Replace panel board (47).
3.4.2
-06- Communication error detected by panel
board (47).
3.4.3 -09- Communication error detected by INV
board on power board (56).
Communication error between panel board (47) and INV
board on power board (56).
Check the wiring between and J2 INV board on power
board (56) and J5B on panel board (47).
For the Art. 388 check wiring between J2 of inverter board
on power board (56) connector (35), check also the trolley
power source extension Art. 2060.
Check correct fixing and connections cleaning of the INV
board, on power board (56) J11_ 12 connectors.
Replace panel (47) and/or power (56) boards.
3.4.4
-10- "Inverter fault" on display A. Missing volt-
age and current at power source output.
Upon power source start-up the control checks the
operating conditions by performing a brief test to generate
the open-circuit output voltage.
While this is taking place it is important that the torch not
touch the workpiece or welding bench.
The following conditions may be detected during this test:
− output voltage present and output current present =
error 54;
− output voltage present and output current absent =
correct operation;
− output voltage absent and output current present =
error 54;
− output voltage absent and output current absent =
error 10.
Error 10 indicates that at the power source start-up, or
with inverter running, the circuits for detecting the output
voltage and output current, on power board (56), detect
voltage = 0 and current = 0.
This situation is possible only with the inverter broken
(thus it does not generate the alternating voltage on the
primary circuit of the (57) power transformer) or with one
or both voltage and current detection lines interrupted.
Perform the "open circuit operation" tests in par. 3.3.8 and
the "operation on resistive load" tests in par. 3.3.9.
Make sure the presence of the three phases of the mains
voltage (see note to par. 3.4.14, error 61).
