4 PREPARATION FOR PUTTING INTO OPERATION
This chapter primarily serves the needs of the vendor's mechanics that prepare the mower
for the user within the scope of pre-sale service. In the event that you have received your mower
already assembled and ready for operation, please skip directly to chapter 5.
In the event that you have unpacked the mower yourself, then it is necessary to prepare it for operation
according to the instructions contained in this chapter. In the event that you are unsure about the
procedure or you have insufficient equipment, tools or experience, please do not hesitate to contact
the vendor of the mower for assistance.
We recommend performing all assembly works in a team of at least two people.
OPENING AND CLOSING THE HOOD.
For some of the following steps it is necessary to open the hood. The hood opening/closing system is the
following:
The hood is unlocked using a lever located at the front right wheel. After unlocking it, the entire hood is lifted

upwards, where it locks itself in position.
To close the hood it is necessary to first release (pull out) the locking pin of the right hinge of the hood and
ƒ
then to tilt down the hood.
ASSEMBLY OF THE SEPARATELY PACKED ASSEMBLIES
Before starting the installation, remove all covering protective materials and align the front wheels to
point forwards.
BALLAST
Mount the ballast to the front side of the mower:
Put the bracket (1) on to the pins (3) in the frame and fasten it to the frame using two bolts and nuts.

Gradually stack the ballasts (2) on to the bracket and secure in place with bolts with a washer (4).
ƒ
TOP PART OF THE PROTECTIVE FRAME
Slide the top rod on to the top part of the protective frame:
Slide the pins (3) out of the tubes (2) in the top frame.
ƒ
Slide the top rod (1) into to the tubes so that the holes in the rods and tubes overlap.
ƒ
ATTENTION: The arch of the rod must point above the driver's seat.
Secure the rod in place by inserting the pins through the holes in the tubes and the holes (4) in
ƒ
the rod.
