Start up the mower according to
ƒ
- the working order of the servo control of the steering wheel to the left/right
- the working order of the grass catcher up/down
This will ensure that oil is filled into all the components.
Check the oil level in the tank and fill up with more oil if necessary.
ƒ
Air is automatically bled from the hydraulic circuit during the first hours of operation of the mower. We
ƒ
recommend, however, to only wear in the mower under light load with warm oil for 1–2 hours.
CALIBRATION OF THE TRAVEL PEDALS AND THE POSITION OF THE MOWING DECK
If a warning triangle and the neutral or reverse symbol appears on the display, this means that the electronic
system is reporting an unperformed requirement for the neutral pedal position. Neutral position means that the
pedals are not stepped on.
In the event that the symbol N appears and the pedals are in the neutral position, it is necessary to calibrate
the position of the pedal sensor:
Sit on the seat and step on the brake pedal.

Set the ignition key to the LIGHTS or ON position (a 10 second interval for entry to calibration).
ƒ
Set the mowing deck height adjustment control knob to position 6.
ƒ
Press the mowing deck switch
ƒ
Set the mowing deck height adjustment control knob to position 1. This automatically performs the calibration
ƒ
of the mowing deck height from the top position to the bottom position. A number appears on the display.
Then the calibration of the pedals starts:
ƒ
- Push down on the forward travel pedal all the way and confirm this by pressing the R switch.
- Release the pedal and confirm the neutral position by pressing the R switch.
- Push down on the reverse travel pedal all the way and confirm this by pressing the R switch.
- Release the reverse pedal and confirm the neutral position by pressing the R switch.
The calibration is complete. The mowing deck will ride up to the top position and the display will show the
ƒ
pedal calibration values on the display.
GRASS CATCHER PRESENCE SENSOR
Regularly check the contactless grass catcher presence sensor settings:
Check that the distance between the sensor and the rear plate is 2 mm. If not, adjust the distance.
ƒ
For adjustment, raise the grass catcher to the appropriate height.
ƒ
Set the position of the sensor by loosening and subsequently tightening the nuts on the body of
ƒ
the sensor.
5.4 STARTING UP THE ENGINE, set it to low speed and test:
5× (the mowing deck will remain turned off).
