STOPPING TRAVEL
The forward/reverse travel of the mower is stopped by gradually taking pressure off the travel pedal and
subsequently stepping on the brake pedal.
If cruise control is activated and you push down the brake pedal, the travel pedal will automatically
move to the neutral position.
PARKING BRAKE
The parking brake serves to secure the mower against movement when parked.
ENGAGING THE BRAKE
Push down the brake pedal and pull out the parking brake draw bar upwards. Release the brake pedal.
ƒ
DISENGAGING THE BRAKE
Step on the brake pedal. The draw bar of the brake will automatically be released and will slide down.
ƒ
CRUISE CONTROL
When mowing extensive grass areas, which require long and direct forward travel, the cruise control can make
your work significantly easier and more comfortable. Cruise control maintains the set travel speed without
needing to step on the travel pedal.
ENGAGING CRUISE CONTROL
Set the speed by stepping on the forward or reverse travel pedal.
ƒ
Press the cruise control button. The cruise control indicator light will be lit on the information panel.
ƒ
Take your foot off the travel pedal.
ƒ
DISENGAGING CRUISE CONTROL
Step on the brake pedal or disengage the cruise control button. The indicator light on the information panel
ƒ
will turn off.
Cruise control does not react to obstacle or to changes in travel surface properties. In the event that
an obstacle is approaching, which cannot be driven around at the set travel speed, it is necessary to
disengage the cruise control.
TURTLE / RABBIT MODE – MOWING SPEED AND TRAVEL SPEED
TURTLE MODE:
Use this mode for mowing. The travel speed is 0–10 km/h and the differential on the driven wheels is functional
– 100% force is transferred to the wheels.
RABBIT MODE
Use this mode for travelling to a different location. The travel speed is doubled (0-20 km/h) and the rear wheels
are self-lock connected, which evenly transfers force to both the wheels and thereby also provides sufficient
traction. Thanks to the speed, the travel force is reduced by 50 %.
Always toggle between the modes when the mower is at a standstill (do not travel with the mower).
