1. Inserting a tip
Perfect analysis results can only be achieved by using quality tips. We
recommend pipette tips from For additional information, refer to the Ac-
curacy table, p. 55 .

NOTICE
a. Insert tip vertically:
Use the correct tips, in accordance
with the volume range or color code!
Make sure that the tips are firmly in
place and leak tight.
a. Slide the volume-change protection
upward (UNLOCK).
b. Turn the volume-setting wheel to se-
lect the desired volume. In doing so,
turn the adjustment wheel steadily,
avoiding abrupt turning motions.
c. Slide the volume-change protection
downward (LOCK). The volume-set-
ting wheel becomes noticeably more
difficult to turn, but movement is not
completely blocked!
