Section 3 Installation
Multiple hazards. Only qualified personnel must conduct the tasks described in this section of the
document.
3.1 Connect the sensor cable to an SC Controller
1. Install an ultrapure conductivity module in the SC Controller. Refer to the installation instructions
supplied with the ultrapure conductivity module. Refer to
on page 16 for ordering information.
2. Connect the wires of the conductivity sensor cable to the ultrapure conductivity module. Refer to
the wiring instructions supplied with the ultrapure conductivity module.
Note: The ultrapure conductivity module converts the analog signal from the sensor to a digital signal.
3.2 Mounting
Explosion hazard. Make sure that the mounting hardware for the sensor has a temperature and
pressure rating sufficient for the mounting location.
For the best performance, make sure that the Pt100 temperature sensor is fully in the sample and
the sensor opening points in the direction of flow. Refer to
clearance (minimum) around the sensor to prevent measurement interference.
Refer to Figure 3 for mounting examples.
