While you are preparing to use the treadm ill, do not stand on the belt. Place
your feet on the side rails before starting the treadm ill. Start walking on the belt
only after the belt has begun to m ove. Never start the treadm ill at a fast running
speed and attem pt to jum p on! In case of an em ergency, place both hands on the
side arm rests to hold yourself up and place your feet onto the side rails.
USI N G THE SAFETY KEY
Your treadm ill will not start unless the em ergency stop button
is reset. Attach the clip end securely to your clothing. This safety
key is designed to cut the power to the treadm ill if you should
fall. Check the operation of the safety key every 2 weeks.
WARN I N G!
Never use the treadm ill without securing the safety key clip to your clothing.
Pull on the safety key clip first to m ake sure it will not com e off your clothing.
Only engage reverse belt direction in a supervised environm ent.
The m axim um default belt speed is 2 m ph and should
only be changed by an authorized technician.
Your treadm ill is capable of reaching high speeds. Always start off using a
slower speed and adjust the speed in sm all increm ents to reach a higher
speed level. Never leave the treadm ill unattended while it is running.
When not in use turn the on/off switch to off and unplug the power
m aintain optim al perform ance and prevent prem ature electronic failure.
Keep your body and head facing forward. Do not attem pt to turn around
or look backwards while the treadm ill is running. Stop your workout
im m ediately if you feel pain, faint, dizzy or are short of breath.
USI N G THE HEART RATE FUN CTI ON
The heart rate function on this product is not a m edical device. While heart rate grips
can provide a relative estim ation of your actual heart rate, they should not be relied
on when accurate readings are necessary. Som e people, including those in a cardiac
rehab program , m ay benefit from using an alternate heart rate m onitoring system like
a chest or wrist strap. Various factors, including m ovem ent of the user, m ay affect the
accuracy of your heart rate reading. The heart rate reading is intended only as an exercise
aid in determ ining heart rate trends in general. Please consult your physician.
PULSE GRI PS
Place the palm of your hands directly on the pulse grip. Both hands m ust grip the sensors for
rate to register. When gripping the pulse grip, do not grip tightly. Holding the grips tightly m ay
elevate your blood pressure. Keep a loose, cupping hold. You m ay experience an erratic readout
contact can be m aintained.The pulse grips are designed for pulse sensing purpose only.

Heart rate m onitoring system s m ay be inaccurate. Over exercising m ay result
in serious injury or death. If you feel faint, stop exercising im m ediately.
