SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted in folding bicycles.
• This child bicycle seat must not be used on EPAC / Pedelecs above 25 km/h
/ 15,5mph.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to bicycles fitted with rear
shock absorbers.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to motorized vehicles such as
mopeds, scooters.
• This child bicycle seat is only suitable for carrying children with a maximum
weight of 22 Kg, and a maximum height of 110 cm, (and children with
recommended ages ranging from 9 months to 6 years of age - with the
weight and height as the decisive variable).
• The total weight of the cyclist and the child transported must not exceed
the maximum permitted load permitted for the bicycle. Information on the
maximum load can be found in the operating instructions of the bicycle. You
can also contact the manufacturer for this question.
• This child bicycle seat can be used on EPAC / Pedelecs up to 25 km/h /
15,5 mph.
• The seat may only be mounted on a bicycle suitable for the attachment of
such additional loads. Please consult your bicycle instructions manual.
• The position of the child bicycle seat must be adjusted so that the
bicycle rider does not touch the child bicycle seat with the feet when
in motion.
• It's very important to correctly adhust the seat and its component parts for
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING THE SEAT IN THE BICYCLE
1. Pull the safety belt for the bicycle frame (C) upwards. Make sure it does not
interfere with mounting the seat to the bicycle.
2. Start to couple the MIK HD carrier attachment system (G) by inserting the
front locking device (G1) into the front groove of the HD MIK luggage carrier.
3. After coupling the front locking device (G1), lock the rear locking device
(G3) of the MIK HD carrier attachment system (G). To do so, push the seat
down, while simultaneously pressing (G2) down and (G3) to the front. This
operation will block the MIK HD carrier attachment system (G) into the MIK
HD bicycle carrier groove. Release it. To ensure that you have completed this
step properly, you must hear a "click".
4. The child seat has a centre of gravity (D) (inscribed on the child seat) that
must be positioned in front of the rear wheel axle. If it is positioned behind
the axle, the distance must not exceed 10 cm. If the centre of gravity is more
than this distance from the axle, adjust the seat to the correct position.
Special care must also be taken when positioning the child seat to ensure
that the cyclist does not touch the child seat with his feet when cycling.
Note: In Germany, according to the German Traffic Law StVZO, bicycle seats

optimum comfort and safety of the child. It's also important that the seat
does not slope forward, so that the child does not tend to slide out of it. It is
also important that the backrest slope backward slightly.
• Check if all parts of the bicycle function correctly with the child bicycle
seat mounted.
• Check the instructions of the bicycle, and If you have any doubts on fitting
the child bicycle seat to your bicycle, please contact your bicycle supplier for
further information.
FOR MIK HD LUGGAGE CARRIERS: SPECIFIC FEATURES
• This child bicycle seat must only be mounted in bicycles equipped with
carriers with MIK HD.
• For safety reasons, ensure that the carrier used with the product is an MIK
HD luggage carrier that meets ISO 11243:2016, and that specifically can
hold sustained loads of at least 27kg/59,5 lb, and is suitable for use with a
child seat according to the information in the operating instructions of the
luggage carrier. Check that the load capacity of the luggage carrier is not
exceeded.
• The maximum weight applied to the carrier cannot exceed 27 kg / 59,5 lb.
• The child bicycle seat must be assembled on bicycles with wheels with
diameters of 26", 27,5", 28" and 29".

seat is located between the front and rear axle of the bicycle.
If the original position of the MIK LUGGAGE PLATE (G) of your seat does not
allow installation according to the above centre of gravity, or if you intend to
move the seat back and forward for your comfort, follow the steps below to
re-align the MIK LUGGAGE PLATE (G).
5. Remove the metallic mounting plate (H1) with the Allen Key (H6), to
loosen the MIK carrier plate (G).
6. To adjust the child bicycle seat according to the bicycle size, set the MIK
carrier plate (G) into one of the two allowed positions to move the seat
backward or forward. At the beginning we suggest placing it on the position
No. 2.
While performing this operation the MIK carrier plate (G) may detach itself
from the seat, and from the seat grooves (A2). Please make sure to properly
reattach the plate (G) again, assuring that the front pins pass through the
front seat holes (A2).
Install the metallic plate (H1) in the seat (A) grooves according to the image
