Cleaning
•
Turn off the UPS and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
The exterior of the UPS and power cord may be cleaned using a soft cloth moistened with a solution of water and mild detergent
•
or disinfectant. Do not immerse the UPS or power cord in liquids.
Storage
•
Store in a cool, dry place.
Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.
•
•
Recommended storage conditions:
- Temperature:
- Relative Humidity:
- Atmospheric Pressure:
WARNING
•
The UPS should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment and if adjacent or stacked use is necessary, the UPS
should be observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will be used.

Electromagnetic Compatibility
•
The UPS needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC
information provided in this Service Manual.
Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect medical electrical equipment such as the Universal Power
•
Supply. Note the reduced Radiated RF immunity compatability levels in Table 9 below those of IEC 60601-1-2, based on
increased separation distances for two-way mobile communication and cell phone devices in the intended use environment of
an operating room.
•
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can affect medical electrical equipment such as the Uniersal power supply. Note the reduced
ESD compatability levels in Table 2 below those of IEC 60601-1-2 based on lower expected ESD levels based on the use of
antistatic materials in the intended use environment of an operating room. Use in an antistatic environment with a relative
humidity of at least 30%. Use in other environemts may result in unpredictable behavior of the UPS.
This system is compliant with the following devices and their associated cables:

Group 1
The 200-006R uses RF energy only for its internal function. Therefore, its RF
emissions are very low and are not likely to cause any interference in nearby
electronic equipment.
Class A
The 200-006R is suitable for use in industrial areas and hospitals. It is not suitable
for use in residential environments. Proper operation has been tested for use near
electrosurgery equipment, RFID equipment, and 5G cell phones.
