The timer lets you begin radio broadcasting or recording at a time preset.
When recording
After setting the timer, insert the tape to be recorded.
Once the tape is inserted, recording starts automatically at the preset
start time, recording both sides of the tape. Please use a tape longer than
the set time.
When the timer stops
The radio broadcasting stops and "TIMER END" flashes on the display.
Press the timer button to return to normal status.
To change the time on the timer
Press the TIMER button to make "TIMER START" flash. Then repeat the
procedures from step 3.
When you don't want the timer to function
Press the TIMER button to turn off the timer display. To reactuate it, press
the TIMER button three times to display "TIMER START" and "TIMER
END."
Notes
¢ After setting the timer, do not turn the function selector switch to
POWER OFF.
¢ The timer can only be set at the clock's time Ca.
¢ When not recording, always remove the tape.
