The saw chain will be lubricated automatically while the
product is running. To lubricate the saw chain sufficiently,

Note:
• The cover is equipped with an anti-loss device.
• Only add environmentally friendly, good quality chain
lubricating oil (per RAL-UZ 48) to the chain saw.
• Ensure that the cover of the oil tank is in place and
closed before switching on the product.
1. Open the oil tank (14). To do this, unscrew the oil tank
cap (14) anti-clockwise.
2. To prevent oil from leaking, use a funnel*.
3. Carefully add the chain lubricating oil until it reaches
the top mark on the oil level indicator (13). Oil tank ca-
pacity: max. 260 ml.
4. Screw down the cover of the oil tank (14) clockwise to
close the oil tank (14).
5. Wipe up any spilled oil carefully immediately and dis-
pose of the cloth according to local regulations.
6. To check the product lubrication, hold the chainsaw
with the saw chain over a sheet of paper and give it
full throttle for a few seconds. You can see on the pa-
per whether the chain lubrication is working.
