Bead presser
The bead presser has a pneumatic control (1, Fig.4.1-
7) for vertical movement.

Lever up;
the bead presser moves up.
-
Lever down;
the bead presser moves down.
CAUTION: THE OPERATIONS COULD BE DANGEROUS.
FOLLOW THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS INDICATED
ON THE APPLIED PLATES.

Adjustment / Settings
4.2.1
Bead pusher extension setting
The bead pusher holder rod slip-off position can be set
in two different heights.

• Remove the rod sliding stops A-B and move the
rod to the extended position.
• Replace and tighten the fixing screws in the rod
locking holes.
Note:
Restore the normal position when the
extension is no longer needed.
4.2.2 Tool Head Angular adjustment
(Fig. 4.2-2)
The tool is adjusted at the factory with an optimal angle
for most wheels used today. However, the angle can
be optimised for wheels with a diameter that differs
considerably from the standard.
To adjust the tool angle, proceed as follows:
1 Mount the rim for which the adjustment is required.
2 Loosen the lower screw (1).
3 Adjust the tool with the screws shown (2a and 2b).
Unscrew the screw (2a) or (2b) to rotate the tool,
respectively clockwise or counterclockwise.
4 Screw in the opposite screw to block the tool in the
desired angular position.
5 Tighten the lower screw (1) with a torque of 35 Nm.
