7.0 Troubleshooting
If a problem with the tyre changer, proceed in the
following order to solve it:
1. Rethink the last steps taken.
Did you work according to the manual instructions?
Did the unit work as described and expected?
2. Check the unit according to the instructions in this chapter.
3. Call your local dealer for technical assistance.

When depressing the wheel support rotation pedal
the machine will not work.
1. No electric power.
• Check that the electric plug is correctly connected
to the socket and that the power supply is on.
2. Switch or motor short circuited.
• Check that the electrical specifications of the
machine are the same of the power supply ones.
• Call the authorised service centre for assistance
The wheel support pedal does not return to neutral
position.
1. Pedal spring broken.
• Lift the pedal to neutral position.
• Disconnect the machine from the power and air
supply.
• Call the authorised service centre for assistance
Hard to operate wheel support and lifter pedal.
1. Air valve stem dry.
• Check lubricator efficiency and oil level.
Bead breaker cylinder insufficient power during
bead breaking operation.
1. Low pressure.
• Clean valve.
• Check air pressure in the supply line.
2. Cylinder seals worn.
• Call the authorised service centre for assistance.
It does not hold the rims.
It damages alloy rims.
1. Tool plastic protection worn out.
• Replace the tool plastic protection.
2. Wrong distance between tool and rim.
3. Repeat the locking procedure by pushing the wheel
locking tool downwards.
• Check the correct operation of the locking ring nut
and that no foreign body blocks its movement. Call
the service centre for assistance.
