Balancing grinding wheel
The grinding wheel must be dressed before balancing! A well dressed and balanced
grinding wheel is essential for a good grinding result!

Position and angle of attack are incorrect and can cause

Place the wheel balancing base (1) on a flat surface and
level it with the set screws (2)
Clean the flange and balancing mandrel (3) and put the

grinding wheel on the balancing mandrel
Let the grinding wheel rolling on the wheel balancing

base freely to find out it is gravity center "S"
Mark point "S"
•
Insert a balancing weight on the opposite "G" and fix it
•
with a worm screw
Rotate the grinding wheel 90° to find out "S" or "G" side is
•
heavier
