21 STORAGE
Improper storage can damage and destroy important components. Only store packed
or unpacked parts under the intended environmental
When the machine is not in use, store it in a dry, frost-proof and lockable place to prevent the
formation of rust on the one hand and to ensure that unauthorised persons and in particular
children have no access to the machine on the other hand.
In case of planned longer standstill, lubricate all guide points sufficiently or treat the bare points
with anti-corrosion agent and drain off the coolants and lubricants and dispose of them properly.
22 DISPOSAL
Observe the national waste disposal regulations. Never dispose of the machine,
machine components or equipment in residual waste. If necessary, contact your
local authorities for information on the disposal options available.
If you buy a new machine or an equivalent device from your specialist dealer, he
is obliged in certain countries to dispose of your old machine properly.

Insert another two balancing weights at lighter side points
"K" which are of the same circle surface as "G" point.
Rotate the grinding wheel 90° to check the balance of the

wheel. If it is still out of balance, readjust two weights "K"
position until grinding wheel is really balanced.
NOTE:
When grinding workpieces with different materials,
change the grinding wheel together with its flange to save the
time required for balancing the grinding wheel.
Before each use, visually check the grinding wheel for
•
possible damage.
Check the grinding wheel for damage by sound test.
•
To do this, place the grinding wheel on a firm surface and
•
tap it at several points (K) with a non-metallic object.
An undamaged grinding wheel emits a clear, bright
•
sound, a damaged grinding wheel a dull or clattering
sound.
