GETTING A BETTER PICTURE
AUTOMATIC TRACKING CONTROL
When a cassette is inserted, and playback started, the automatic tracking
function works to get the best possible picture automatically.
During auto
tracking adjustment, "A-TR" flashes in the display. When the adjustment
is completed, the indicator remains lit.
. "A-TF!" does not appear while an unrecorded portion of a tape is played
back.
Depending upon the quality of the recorded tape, the amount of time it
takes to automatically
adjust the tracking varies. If "A-TR continues to
blink for more than 10 seconds, please adjust the tracking manually.
MANUAL TRACKING CONTROL E
If the quality of a tape is poor, the picture may become clearer if you adjust
the tracking manual lyafteradjustment
by the automatic tracking function.
During playback, press the TRACKING –+ buttons on the remote control
repeatedly until the clearest possible picture is obtained.
The "A-TFV indicator turns off in th(? display.
To return to the automatic tracking mode
Press the A-TR button.
