Program selection
The device offers 13 programs and 3 functions to prepare a delicious dish or to
defrost, dry or keep food warm at the touch of a button.
The amount of food cooked at the same time and the thickness, density and type
of food (fresh, thawed or frozen) can change the cooking time required.
Tip: Use search engines and cookbooks to find out about unfamiliar foods and
how to handle them before cooking.
1 Make sure the device is plugged in and turned off. If necessary, press the On/
Off button to switch off the device.
2 Gently open the device door.
3 Make sure that the inside of the device and the cooking base or rotisserie are
not hot. If necessary, wear oven gloves and grasp the rotisserie or cooking
mat with a heat-resistant, food-safe kitchen utensil to prevent burns.
4 Place the cooking base or rotisserie on a clean, heat-resistant, food-safe work
surface.
5 Insert the drip tray into the device as described in INSTALLING THE
COMPONENTS.
Note: Insert the drip tray before each cooking process to catch fat and food
juices. This protects the device from damage caused by leaking food juices and
keeps the effort required to clean the device to a minimum.
6 Prepare the food as described under SELECTING THE COOKING BASE and slide
the rotisserie spit into the rotators on the left and right of the appliance. Slide
the cooking base onto the rails in the appliance.
Note: It is best to slide the frying basket onto the middle rail to ensure even
cooking.
7 Gently close the door.
8 Press the On/Off button to turn on the device.
9 Press the MENU button (repeatedly) to select your program. The symbol for
the selected program lights up and the cooking time and temperature of the
program are shown in the display. When you are satisfied with this setting,
press the On/Off button to start the program.
