• If the hob is installed over a drawer or
a cabinet there is a thermal protection
barrier under the bottom part of the hob.
• The isolator switch is easily accessible
for the user.
OPERATION
Before using the hob for the first time clean
it with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
When turning it on for the first time there
may be a slight smell or smoke; this is
normal and will disappear very quickly.
This appliance has been designed for
domestic use only
• Never use the appliance for other
purposes different to the ones it has
been designed for.
• The appliance must not be operated by
children or people who do not have the
relevant knowledge about how to use it
correctly
CONTROL PANEL
• The controllers are touch operated; it is
not necessary to apply any pressure on
them.
• Use the pads of your fingertip to operate
the appliance, not the fingertip itself
(see image 06 on page 6)
• Make sure the touch control is always
clean and dry.

USE OF THE CONTROL PANEL
Turning the hob on
Note: unit becomes operational within 1
second after it is plugged to the mains. All
LEDs and displays illuminate for 1 second.
• Unit is turned on by pressing the "ON/
OFF" button. The symbol "0" is displayed
on all displays (see image 09 on page 8).
• If the temperature of the glass over
the heating area is above + 60°C, and

icons are displayed on the display of
the relevant successively ( "H"= 0.5
seconds, "0"= 0.5 seconds) (see image 10
on page 8).
Turning the hob off
• Unit is turned off by pressing the "ON/
OFF" key (see image 11 on page 8).
• You may turn off the unit by pressing
the "ON/OFF" key even if the child lock
is active.
Electronic components remain
active for 20 seconds. If there is
no cooking level within this
period, unit switches to ''off
mode'' automatically with a
signalling sound.
Residual heat display ("H")
• If the icon on the display of the hob
is illuminated, this means that the
relevant hob is still hot. It may be used
for heating a small amount of food (see
image 12 on page 8).
Residual heat display is not
illuminated, and thus it does
not warn the user against heat
in case of a power outage.
Residual heat display of each
cooking area remains active
until
temperature is below + 60 °C.
Turning the cooking areas on
• Turn the hob on by pressing the "ON/
OFF" button (see image 13 on page 8).
• Press the relevant hob selection key.
The "0" icon shall be displayed in the
relevant hob when you touch for the
first time (see image 14 on page 8).
• Power level of the relevant hob may be
set from 1 to 9 using the "+" and the "-"
keys. (see image 15 on page 8).
If the hob selected is hot, "0"
icon shall be displayed instead
of "H" icon after the selection is
made.
