damage it, creating a dangerous environment for you
and the people who are near your work environment.
Nylon lines shorten with use, when they are too short
speed up the engine and press the head against the
ground, at that moment a little more line will come out
of the head. If you pull out too much thread the guard
blade will cut off the excess.
Remember that the end of the nylon line is the one
that makes the cut. You will get a better result if you
do not insert the entire head into the area to be cut at
once. Insert the head slowly and let the nylon tips cut
through the grass at its own pace.
WARNING DANGER: Do not work with the
brushcutter in areas where there is metal mesh.
Always use the appropriate protective equipment. Do
not use this machine in areas where you cannot see
clearly what you are going to cut.
6.3 CUTTING WITH THE DISC
Check the disc clamping and make sure it is tight and
there is no damage or signs of abrasion.
Make sure that the disc and the disc holder are firmly
installed according to the assembly instructions and
that the disc rotates freely without abnormal noise.
CUTTING METHOD:
- Cut with the left front part of the disc.
- Always cut to the left keeping the blade slightly tilted
to the left.
IMPORTANT:
- Cut only grass. Do not let the blade touch materials
that it cannot cut such as stones, metals, hard wood,
wire mesh, etc.
- Keep the disc sharp. A poorly sharpened disc causes
greater cutting effort and wear on the machine,
as well as a greater risk of rebounding or material
projection.
- Keep the area that is going to be cut clean, without
remains of cut vegetables or other materials.
6.4. CUTTING WITH THE MOWER
Always keep your body on the left side of the pole.
Keep the pole at a maximum angle of 60º to the
ground and maintain an appropriate safety distance
from the branch you are cutting.
Keep a safe distance from the branch to be cut.
Consider where the branch you are cutting will fall
and make sure you are not located in that area. The
safety distance must be at least twice the length of
the branch to be cut.
We recommend that you train with small branches in
an easy position to gain experience before undertaking
more complicated cuts.
Always follow the safety rules that we indicate in this
manual.
Use this machine exclusively for cutting wood. It is
forbidden to cut any other type of material.
Do not use this machine to move objects.
While cutting, use the machine gently. Use only slight
downward pressure while holding the machine at full
52/152
60º max.
