Wind up all but about 100mm of thread, leaving the
ends hooked temporarily through a notch in the side
of the spool.
Mount the spool onto the cap so that the grooves and
protrusions on the spool match up. Now, unhook the
ends of the thread from their temporary position and
feed them through the eyelets so that they come out
of the sheath.
Replace the cover by matching the holes with the
protrusions on the casing. Then push the cover in
firmly to secure it. Make sure the latches are fully
engaged.

5.2.5. INSTALLING THE BAR AND CHAIN
ATTENTION! Remember to always wear safety
gloves when handling the chain to avoid accidentally
cutting yourself. The mower chain has very sharp
teeth.
ATTENTION! :Never touch, adjust or sharpen
the chain with the engine running. Disconnect the
machine before handling the chain.
Never start the machine before installing chain,
bar, chain cover and chain cover nut.
Without these parts there may be a risk of personal
injury.
The chain bar and the chain are supplied separately.
To install them, follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the chain cover nut (1).
2. Remove the chain cover (2).

3. Put the chain on the bar.
Before mounting the guide bar with the chain, check
the cutting direction of the teeth.
The correct position of the chain will have the cutting
edges of the teeth in the direction of rotation
