If the blade is very hot, wait a few minutes for it to
cool down.
- Always wear safety gloves when unlocking the blade.
- With the help of pliers or a similar tool, remove the
element that obstructs the blade.
To facilitate cutting tasks, the angle between the blade
and the transmission can be modified. To change to
angle:
- Turn off the machine.
- Squeeze the safety lever A and, without releasing,
squeeze the locking lever B to release the pivot axis.
- Without releasing both levers, rotate the blade to the
desired angle.
- Release the levers.
- Slightly move the blade so that the axis of rotation
is locked
7. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Perform periodic inspections on the machine to ensure
efficient operation of the machine. For complete
maintenance we recommend that you take the
machine to your technical service.
It is always necessary to stop the engine and
verify that the cutting tool is stopped before cleaning
or transporting the machine.
Never attempt adjustments on the machine if it
is running. Carry out all maintenance on the machine
with it placed on a flat and clear surface.
Remove the battery from the machine before
performing any operation on the machine. Read the
instruction manual before performing any operation.
Always perform maintenance or service tasks with the
battery removed.
WARNING!: Do not modify the machine or the
cutting elements. Improper use of these items can
cause SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
Keep the machine clean, especially the engine
ventilation windows.
The removal of safety devices, inappropriate
maintenance, the replacement of elements with non-
original spare parts can cause bodily injury.
7.1. MAINTENANCE AND CARE AFTER USE
Perform the following maintenance and care
operations when you finish working with the machine
to ensure the smooth operation of this machine in
future occasions.
7.1.1. CLEANING
Before proceeding to clean your unit, disconnect the
battery from the machine.
Attention!: Always clean the machine after use. Failure
to carry out proper cleaning may cause damage to
the machine and lead to a malfunction. Whenever
possible, clean up immediately after work.
Keep your machine clean and in good condition.
Do not clean the motor with water. The electric motor
could be damaged.
Clean the casings of your machine with a cloth
dampened with water. Never use gasoline, solvents,
detergents, water or any other liquid to clean the
machine.
7.1.2. SHARPENING THE CHAIN CUTTING TEETH
ATTENTION !: An incorrectly sharp chain increases
the risk of rebound of the mower, vibrations increasing
the risk of accident !.
