Cleaning the Gas-Flux Fuel Line
This manual contains instructions for cleaning the fuel
line of Gas-Flux Perfect Flame units.
*This is required every 40 hours of service to prevent
severe blockage caused by flux agent. Failure to perform
routine maintenance required will void warranty.
SETUP
1. Fill the tank with clean warm water
2. Connect a hose from the tank to the inlet fuel valve
3. Connect a hose from the outlet fuel valve to a con-
tainer to store the water (make sure the hose is held
or safely secured)
24
4. Connect a non-pressurized hose from a compressed
air cylinder to the inlet valve of the tank
5. Ensure the ball valve on the Perfect Flame fuel inlet is
closed (handles facing perpendicular to the direction
of stream)
6. Pressurize the tank with compressed air
7. Verify the pressure of the tank reads at about 35psig
and is less than 50psig (Do NOT open the ball valve
to the Perfect Flame inlet if pressure is at or exceeds
50psig)
8. If pressure is more than ±5psig from 35psig, adjust the
regulator until the reading is within range
9. Once the desired pressure is reached, open and close
the relief valve partially (slowly, as some mist will
spray out) and verify the gauge reads close to 35psig
(and is less than 50psig)
