PERFECT FLAME INITIAL SETUP
This user guide contains information and instructions for all other setup and operating functions, including:
• Single-torch (Model ST) flame and job setup
• Single-torch Production Mode
• Multi-torch (Model MT) flame and job setup
• Multi-torch Production Mode
• General unit settings and configuration
• Demo Mode and Limited Mode
Follow the steps below to configure the Perfect Flame for first-time use. Initial configuration values may be changes at any time (see System Settings
(Model ST & Model MT).
1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. Power up the unit by flipping the power switch to the on position. To power down the unit, flip the switch
to the off position.
2. When the system starts up for the first time it will present a list of steps that must be taken before it will be fully functional. Press the button to
the right of each step to set the corresponding values. As each step is completed, the button will show a green check mark to indicate success.
Notification icons in the lower left corner of the screen indicate functionality, mode and wi-fi connection status.
a. Create Machine Name: Machine Name is a way to easily
identify a unit on the production floor and is part of any data
analysis done through ViziBraze™. If there are multple Perfect
Flame systems tied to a specific contract, each system must be
uniquely named. Enter a name for the unit and press OK to save.
WARNING: Machine name should not conntain any special
characters such as #, @ etc......
b. Configure Wi-Fi: Select the appropriate SSID to allow
connectivity to the Perfect Flame server. Enter the password and
press OK to save. Note: an active Wi-Fi connection is required to
complete this step and to initialize the unit.
c. Validate License: Enter the registration code that was provided
as part of the Perfect Flame agreement. Press OK to save. The
unit will contact the Perfect Flame server to validate the code.
Depending on your internet connection speed, it may take a
minute or so to validate the code.
d. Set Server Upload Time:
The unit will transmit usage data to the Perfect Flame server
for analysis at a scheduled time each day. Values are set based
upon a 24 hour clock (i.e. 2PM is set as HH: 14 MM: 00). Press
OK to save. (As part of the license validation, the date and
time on the unit will be set automatically based upon contract
settings. Date and time cannot be changed on the unit. If a
unit is moved to a different time zone, please contact Harris
Products Group so the contract settings can be adjusted.)
e. Press Done to complete the initial setup. The Perfect Flame is
now ready for use.
