The following signal words are used
in these instructions:
DANGER!
This signal word/symbol indicates a
hazard with a high level of risk that,
if not avoided, may result in death or
serious injury.
WARNING!
This signal word/symbol indicates a
hazard with a medium level of risk
that, if not avoided, may result in
death or serious injury.
CAUTION!
This signal word/symbol indicates a
hazard with a low level of risk that, if
not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury.
NOTICE!
This signal word warns of possible
damage to property.
General Safety Information
Bear in mind that the operator or
the user is responsible for accidents
involving other persons or damages
to such persons' property.

Safety in the Workplace
Never permit the motor to be run
in closed rooms. The exhaust gases
are dangerous and contain carbon
monoxide, an odorless, poisonous
gas. Only operate this appliance in
a well-ventilated, outdoor area.
Work only under good lighting
conditions or provide correspond-
ing artificial lighting.
Do not perform work on surfaces
with a slope gradient exceeding
20°; you might slip and lose con-
trol of the appliance.
Always work across the slope, nev-
er upwards or downwards.
Personal safety
