Check that all nuts, bolts and
screws have been property tight-
ened to ensure the appliance is in
safe, operational condition.
Do not continue using the appli-
ance if it is damaged. Replace the
damaged components with appro-
priate, original spare parts.
Avoid keeping your body in an
abnormal position. Keep proper
footing and balance at all times.
Make sure you have a secure
footing on inclines. Be especially
cautious when changing the driv-
ing direction on an incline. Always
walk! Never run!
Check the appliance before start-
ing.
Do not remove or tamper with any
protective equipment and keep
such equipment properly and regu-
larly maintained.
Check the protective equipment at
regular intervals to ensure its func-
tionality.
Check the appliance for leaks.
Do not use the appliance if it can-
not be switched on and/or off us-
ing the motor switch. Fuel-powered
engines that cannot be operated
with the motor switch are danger-
ous and must be exchanged.
Check regularly before starting
to see whether wrenches and/or
screwdrivers have been removed
from the appliance. Leaving screw-
drivers or wrenches on a rotating
part can result in personal injury.
Always be attentive and alert! Al-

doing and exercise caution. Under
no circumstances must you use the
appliance if you are unfocused or
feeling uneasy or ill.
Avoid starting the appliance un-
intentionally. Make sure that the
motor has been switched off before
