The appliance is delivered without engine oil.
- Check the fuel level – the tank should be at
least half full.
- Check the condition of the air filter (see the
operating instructions for the motor).
- Check the condition of the fuel lines.
- Make sure that the spark plug connector

- Pay attention to any signs of damage.
- Check to make sure that all protective covers
have been attached and that all screws, nuts
and bolts have been tightened.
- Check the area around the appliance to make
sure that neither you nor anybody else can be
put into danger upon starting the engine.
