Quik Call II
This feature allows you to broadcast a series of distinct and recognizable tones before a voice transmission
from the dispatcher or a radio.
The broadcasting dispatcher or radio user can select this programmed Quik Call II tone transmission to be
sent to an individual talkgroup or over the entire system. Each tone is distinctive to indicate different situation
or different broadcaster.
NOTE: The receiving radio must be configured with the matching Quik Call II tone from the transmitting
radio, in order for the receiving radio to sound the selected tone followed by the preconfigured alert
tone.

Initiating Quick Call II Transmission
Prerequisites: Tone must be preprogrammed into the Tone Signaling List on the broadcasting or transmitting
radio.
Procedure:
1. From the Home screen, tap
2. To broadcast, tap
NOTE: Aside from the list, tap
3. To broadcast the required tone, press the PTT button.
NOTE: The broadcasting and receiving radio sound the required tone.
You can begin your call after the tone ends.
4. To listen, release the PTT button.

Quick Call II, then select the required tone from the list of tones.
Search to search the required tone.
