Hazard Zone Mode Personality
While in Hazard Zone Mode (HZM), your radio transmit power is always set to High. During this mode, you
are not able to change the transmit power level.
In HZM, your radio is set to the following conditions:
● Radio lights and tones are always enabled.
● The radio maximum audio volume and alert tone volume is set to at least 88db.

Any input on the radio
clears the banner dis-
play. The notification re-
mains until the battery
is above 50%.
Exit the over temper-
ature environment or
the radio will enter into
Continuous Over Temp
(30 seconds) phase.
