The radio conducts self-diagnostic tests for every five minutes from the moment that the radio is turned on
until it is turned off.

Description

Detects when the communication with the RSM
fails, or when the RSM is detached.

Detection occurs in Hazard Zone Mode or Non-
hazard Zone Mode.

Detects on Hazard Zone Mode RSM or adapter
only.
Detects when the radio, RSM, or battery is ex-
posed to a temperature level that exceeds the per-
mitted threshold.
Detects when the radio powers up with battery ca-
pacity of less than 50%.
