Voice Announcement
This feature enables the radio to audibly indicate the current feature mode, zone, or channel assigned to the
user.
The available voice announcement (VA) priority options are:
High
Voice announcement is enabled even when the radio is receiving calls.
Low
Voice announcement is disabled when the radio is receiving calls.

Description
The Remote Speaker Mi-
crophone (RSM) on your ra-
dio fails in the Hazard Zone
Mode (HZM).
Your radio detects a battery
that has been overheating
for more than 10 minutes.
Your radio exits the HZM
to an HZM incapable chan-
nel by a switch or a mode
change.
Your radio is attached with
a nonhazard zone accesso-
ry while the radio is in the
HZM.
Your radio detects that it is
out of range.
Your radio detects that the
RF device, the RSM, or the
battery has been overheat-
ing for more than 30 sec-
onds.
Your radio is turning off.
Your radio detects that the
RF device has been over-
heating for more than 10
minutes.
Your radio detects that the
RSM has been overheating
for more than 10 minutes.
