GFCI personal protection switch (*)

The PRCD personal protection switch is
specifically intended for your protection. Do
not use the personal protection switch for
switching the product on and off.
If the personal protection switch is damaged,
e.g. due to contact with water, do not use it
any more.
The personal protection switch is indispens-
able; it is used for protection of the operator
against electric shock. Under fault-free
operation, the personal protection switch
control lamp is active.
Check the operability of the GFCI personal
protection switch before beginning to work:
1. Connect the plug of the GFCI personal
protection switch with the mains socket
outlet.
2. Press the RESET–button. The personal
protection switch control lamp is active.
3. Disconnect the plug from the mains
socket outlet. The personal protection
switch control lamp becomes inactive.
4. Repeat steps 1. and 2.
5. Press the TEST–button. The personal
protection switch control lamp becomes
inactive. In case the control lamp remains
active, do not run the product. In this case,
contact the customer service at
www.fein.com.
6. Press the RESET–button. When the con-
trol lamp is active, the product may be
switched on.
Do not use the GFCI personal protection
switch for switching the power tool on and
off.
