Operation
To abort minimisation:
• Return to the balancing program by pressing the
STOP (5) key and perform the compensation
indicated.
With indication Un.5 – I (1 reference mark Fig. 5-35)
• After the measuring run, turn the wheel according to
the direction indication and make a mark (Fig. 5-36)
on the right side of the tyre, exactly perpendicular
to and above the main shaft.
• Readjust the tyre on the rim so that the reference
mark is aligned with the valve (tyre changer Fig.
5-37).
• Clamp the wheel on the unit and readjust it so that
the valve is exactly perpendicular to and above the
main shaft.
• Press ENTER (1) to acquire the valve position.
Indication Un.6 appears (Fig. 5-34).
• Start the run (START).
The machine performs the second measuring
run with the tyre. After the measuring run three
indications are possible:
II - Un.7
Proceed with the UN program. It is recommended to
invert the tyre.
Un.7 - II
Proceed with the UN program. It is recommended to
turn the tyre.
H0
Optimum condition has been achieved and cannot be
further improved.
Depending on the indications, there are several
possibilities for proceeding with the program. These
possibilities are described below.
If indication II - Un.7 appears
Invert the tyre the rim (the left indication marks will
rotate).
Option 1: invert the tyre on the rim (adjustment
program)
• Readjust the wheel according to the left direction
indication and make a double mark on the left side
of the tyre exactly perpendicular to and above the
main shaft (Fig. 5-36).
• Remove the wheel from the unit.
• Invert the tyre on the rim and turn it until the double
mark coincides with the valve (Fig. 5-37).
• Clamp the wheel on the unit and readjust it so that
the valve is exactly perpendicular to and above the
main shaft.
• Press ENTER (1) to acquire the valve position.
Indication Un.8 appears (Fig. 5-34).
• Start the check run (START).
If weight minimisation was carried out correctly
(according to the program cycle), after the check run
the machine returns to the weight application position
selected before minimisation and indicates the residual
dynamic unbalance of the wheel.
