3. Turn the lock handles (C) back in towards the saw
unit until the lock buttons (B) on the handles pop-up
and the guide wheels are flush against the rail.

4. If the saw unit is mounted on a vertically mounted
rail, lock the upper lock handle. When the upper
lock handle is locked, the saw's weight is relieved
and it is easier to lock the lower handle. Make sure
that there is no play between the saw and the guide
wheels and the rail. If there is play, the guide wheels
must be adjusted. Refer to
wheels on page 44 .
To assemble the blade
WARNING:
from the power supply before you start the
assembly.
It is recommended that Husqvarna diamond blades
are used together with the WS 8. Maximum starting
blade is 600 mm, and maximum size for blades for
deeper cuts is 900 mm. Talk to your Husqvarna agent
for recommendations regarding blades for different
materials.
1. Loosen the blade bolt and remove the outer blade
flange.

To adjust the guide
Disconnect the product
2. Clean the clamping surfaces on the inner (A) and
outer (B) blade flange. Make sure that they are free
from grades.
3. Clean the clamping surfaces on the blade and make
sure it is not damaged.
4. The inner blade flange (B) has a factory mounted
center spacer for 60 mm blade center holes.
Remove the 60 mm/2.4 in. spacer if you use blades
with 25.4 mm/1 in. center holes (C).

5. Make sure to use the correct rotational direction with
regard to the water spray. For vertical cutting you
should direct the water spray down towards the floor.
6. Mount the blade according to the rotation arrow on
the blade. If the blade do not have a rotation arrow,
inspect the diamonds in the segments and make
sure that the exposed part of the diamonds lie in the
blade's rotational direction.
