FRONT BRAKE

BRAKE PAD WEAR

(Refer to the maintenance precautions on
page 57 ).
Brake pad wear depends upon the severity
of usage, the type of riding, and road
conditions. (Generally, the pads will wear
faster on wet and dirty roads.)
Inspect t he pa ds a t each r egular
maintenance interval (page 53 ).
Front Brake
Check the wear indicator mark ( ) on each 1
pad.
If either pad is worn to the wear indicator
mark, replace both pads as a set. See your
Honda dealer for this service.
