(E) at the specific pressure. Tighten the
Regulating Flywheel to fix the settings
permanently.
Close the little cover located on the main
regulator.
3.Using an extraction gas analyser, check
the CO content, the ratio CO/CO2 and
the exhaust smoke temperature.
- CO < 0,1% or 1000 ppm.
- CO/CO2 < 0,02.
- Smoke tº < 240°C.

Electrical connections

The established national regulations
should be followed in all cases.
Each unit is supplied with an electric panel
for connecting the power supply my means
of a fused main switch or an automatic
switch.
This electric panel includes a phase detector
to make sure the electrical sequence is R-
S-T. Should this not be the case, the
electronic control board will not be powered
and the unit will be inoperative. In this case,
interchange two of the main power supply
input phases of the machine. The electric
heater, if fitted, should be installed with

Precaution for wiring
2
A 10 x 0.22 mm
shielded cable with a maximum length of 100 m. should be used between the thermostat and
the control board. The connections to be made are R, B and X1. (The remaining 7 cables are necessary if a
thermostat is to be used with relays with connections G, Y1, Y2, O/B, W.)
To connect the remote sensor connection, a shielded 2 x 0.5 mm
be used between the thermostat and the sensor. The connections to be made are RS1 and RS2.

power supply and switches independent of
the air conditioning unit power supply.
Power and control wiring
Job site wiring of the unit and its ground
connection should comply with national, lo-
cal and municipal regulations in force. The
voltage tolerances that should be kept on
the compressor terminals during start-up
and operation are indicated on the
identification plate.
An automatic switch for the unit should be
installed at job site. This switch should be
independent of all other circuits. If any of the
cables supplied with the unit must be
changed, the substituting cable should be
of the same type indicated in the wiring
diagram.
The power supply line should be well-di-
mensioned so as to withstand the load. Use
copper conductors only. Each one of the
units should be connected to an
independent circuit with an automatic
switch, powered directly from the control
panel.

wiring to the unit, waterproof type
connectors should be used so as
to avoid water or dampness from
getting into the unit during normal opera-
tion. These waterproof conditions are also
applicable when a switch is installed at job
site.
See "Typical job site wiring" concerning the
unit wiring diagram, as well as information
on the control circuit and power supply wiring.
Thermostat
The ambient thermostat should be located
on an indoor wall at about 1.5 mm. above
floor level, away from any air current and
exposure to direct sunlight or to the heat of
any other electrical apparatus. Follow the
manufacturer's instructions supplied with
the thermostat with regard to general in-
stallation. Ten colour-coded 0.22 mm²
shielded cables should be used to connect
the thermostat to the unit.
Rotational direction of
compressors
The Scroll compressors and fans operate
correctly in one single rotational direction.
All motors are factory-wired for rotation in
the correct direction.
