To do a check of the oil level in the
hydraulic system
1. Tilt the seat forward.
2. Clean the area around the oil cap with a dry cloth.
3. Remove the oil cap and examine the hydraulic oil
level. Correct level is 40–60 mm from the top of the
strainer.
4. If the oil level is too low, fill with the type of oil given
Technical data on page 44 .

bevel gear of the cutting deck
1. Park the product on a level surface.
2. Lower the cutting deck to mow position.
3. Put a clean metal rod through the oil fill plug. The
metal rod must be a minimum of 100 mm long and
maximum 3 mm in diameter.
4. Lower the metal rod to the bottom of the gear
housing.
5. Pull the dipstick out and read the oil level.
6. Measure the part of the metal rod that is have oil on
it. There must be oil on 78-82 mm of the metal rod.
7. Fill with hydraulic oil if the oil level is less than 78
mm of the metal rod. Refer to
page 44 for recommended oil.

To replace the oil in the bevel gear
of the cutting deck
1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to
cutting deck on page 14 .
2. Put the cutting deck on its front edge and drain the
oil through the oil fill plug.
3. Let the oil run out into a container.
4. Fill with 80 ml new hydraulic oil as given in
data on page 44 .

To do a check of the coolant level

1. Park the product on level ground and stop the
engine.
2. Open the coolant cap.
3. Look down in the coolant tank.
4. Fill the coolant tank if you can not see the coolant
through the opening of the coolant tank. Refer to
Technical data on page 44 .
