6-Channel Line Mixer
These operating instructions are intended for
users with basic knowledge in audio technology .
Please read the instructions carefully prior to

operation and keep them for later reference .
1 Overview

1.1 Front panel

230 V~/50 Hz
A Input channel 1 (channels 2 to 6 are identical)

3 LED to indicate the muting function; lights
up while the input channel is muted
4 Control for the input channel

5 Switch MUTE / REL for the muting function:
When the switch MUTE ALL (9) is not
pressed, the input channel will be muted
by pressing the switch MUTE / REL .
When the switch MUTE ALL (9) is pressed
(muting of all input channels), the input
channel will be switched on again by press-
ing the switch MUTE / REL .
6 Overload LED CLIP; will light up when the
input channel is overloaded
7 Stereo LED level indicators; depending on
the position of the selector switch (8), they
indicate the level of the master channel
OUT 1 or the level of the master channel

8 Selector switch for the LED level indica-
tors (7)
Switch not pressed:
The LEDs will indicate the level of the mas-
ter channel OUT 1 .
Switch pressed:
The LEDs will indicate the level of the mas-
ter channel OUT 2 .
9 Switch MUTE ALL to mute all input channels
10 Equalizer for the master signal:
LOW = bass control
MID
= midrange control
HIGH = treble control

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead
of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
1 . The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black .
2 . The wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red .

If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harm-
ful to the environment .
3 Applications
With this 6-channel mixer, stereo and mono
units with line level (e . g . CD player, tuner, effect
unit) can be mixed on two master channels . The
unit is therefore suitable for general professional
PA applications .
The mixer has especially been designed for
installation into a rack (482 mm / 19") . However,
it can also be used as tabletop unit, if required .
For rack installation, a height of 1 RS (rack space)
= 44 .45 mm is required .
