5. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Before making the connections, ensure that the unit is disconnected from the mains power supply.
• Check that the power supply voltage of the appliance corresponds to the value indicated on the rating
plate inside the electrical panel,
• Insert the power and ground connection cables into the electrical panel compartment through the
tear-proof cable gland supplied, and connect the ends to the terminals (see Fig. 5.a; L1, L2, GND);
• The humidifi er power line must be fi tted with a disconnecting switch and fuses. Table 5.a lists the
recommended cross-sections of the power supply cable and the recommended fuse ratings; note,
however, that this data is purely a guide and, in the event of non-compliance with local standards, the
latter must prevail.

5.1 Power supply voltage

Table 5.a summarises the electrical data corresponding to the power supply voltages and the rated
features.

5.2 Checking the voltage of the auxiliary circuit transformer

The multi-voltage auxiliary circuit transformer has one primary winding (230 V, protected by 10.3 x
38mm cylindrical fuses, see Table 7.a) and one secondary winding (24 V). The transformer is connected
and checked in the factory, according to the rated voltage.

5.3 Main control board

The auxiliary connections must be made by inserting the cables from the outside into the electrical panel
compartment through the cable gland located on the side of the humidifi er until reaching the removable
screw terminal block located on the base of the electrical panel, as shown in Fig. 5.a.
Suitable clamps should be used to secure the probe, remote ON/OFF connection cables, etc., so as to
prevent any disconnections from causing malfunctions and damage.
