Electrical Connection

WARNING!
Before maintenance or repair of pumps

CAUTION!
Before starting, make sure that the general
power supply is of f. The device must never
be connected or disconnected when t he
power is on. The protective conductor must
always be connected. Take care that this
line section is undam aged and conforms to
st andards and the contacts are safe.
NOTE
The protection IP6K9K is guaranteed w hen
t he socket (X1:, X2: & X3:) is tightened on
t he housing cover with flat packing.

Make sure of the connection and the type of constructi on
of your QLS 401.
- type of connection (VDC / VAC)
- low-level indication
- type of connection plug
- monit oring of metering device via external or internal
cycle switch
Connect the electrical wires according to the following
ele ctrical conne cting diagrams (see cha pter „Technical
Data").

ATTENTION!
Consider residual ripple of max. ±5 % to
connect pum ps with direct current version
(in relation to the operating voltage acc. to
DIN 41755).

Operati on with bayonet plug
Protective measures to be applied for appropriate operat ion
with bayonet plugs:
"Functional ex tra-low voltage with safe isolation" /
"Protectiv e Extra-Low Voltage" (PELV)
Standards:
DI N EN 60204 Teil1: 2007-07 / IEC 204-1 /
DI N VDE 0100 Teil 410: 2007-06 / IEC 364-4-41
Use only original Lincoln spare parts for repair on the
pumps.
The pump should be returne d to the factory for warranty
work or major repairs.
