7 Inverter operation
Please take Table 1 in the appendix as a reference
7.1 Auto Power-up
The PV-Inverter starts up automatically once the DC-voltage from the PV
generator is greater than the "System start-up voltage".
7.2 Operating Modes
There are 4 operating modes. For each mode, there is a corresponding colour
and text to indicate the status of the inverter.
Normal
The normal condition is characterized by the green backlight of the LCD
display. In these conditions, the inverter can have of these statuses:
STANDBY
During normal operation, the PV-Inverter is in "standby" if all of the
input voltages are below the "Initial feed in voltage".
CHECKING
When at least one input voltage is above the "Initial feed in voltage",
the inverter checks both grid and input voltages during count-down
GRID CONNECTED
Once the count-down is finished, the inverter connects to the grid and
enters the normal state, in which it stays until all of the input voltages
fall below the "Working range"
Recovery from an error
After any of error conditions listed in chapter 12 have been cleared, the
LCD back light stays yellow for the next 48 hours, after which it turns back
green.
