5.6 Potential of PV modules to ground
During the operation of transformerless inverters (like this product), it is normal
to find high voltage between each pole of the PV generator and ground. This
high voltage is due to the connection between neutral and ground in a TT or TN
distribution system. This voltage value varies depending on the inverter's
topology.
This inverter produces a voltage between the negative pole of the string and
ground, as shown in the following figure.

The results achieved using a tester on a
waveform like this are not reliable because a
tester is an instrument specifically designed
to measure DC or sinusoidal voltages.
