8 Using the LCD Display and Data Logger

8.1 Operation

Keys on the data logger:
On the data logger, there are 5 keys used to change and adjust operation.
Generally, the functions of keys are defined as follows.
"→": View the lower level (1st to 2nd) or move the cursor right
"←" : View the upper level (2nd to 1st) or move the cursor left
"↑" : View the previous screen or move the cursor up
"↓" : View the next screen or move the cursor down
" ": Set or confirm
Display backlighting
As stated in the previous section, the colour of backlighting changes according
to the operating status. The backlight stays illuminated only for a short time after
the last operation, in order to save energy. However, in the event of a failure or
error, in addition to turning red, the backlight flashes every second until any key
is pressed, according to instructions on the LCD.
Audible Alarm
To inform the user, the display emits an audible alarm in any of the abnormal
conditions listed in chapter 12.
